Hello, Everyone,

I just wanted to give you the update for the final entry on the blog. John is doing quite well. He went to see his Neurosurgeon on Tuesday, March 4, and was told that he had to stay off work for 6 more weeks. They would prefer him to be off until his bone has formed well around all the hardware, which takes about 3 months. He is not thrilled with this, because he is bored with being at home, but he understands the necessity for the healing process to be completed.
Now, both John and I want to make sure we thank all of our wonderful friends and family who have meant so much to us over the past 2 months. We want to say thanks to everyone who has sent cards, letters, good wishes, and wonderful meals. We have been so blessed to have each and everyone of you in our lives.
We will never forget you!
